The First Apartment

This painting reminds me of Grandma’s
love for me, and her words to
“…stay forever young.” It inspires a light
heart, opening the door to wisdom.

Here the play was an interior. The artist’s strokes are relaxed,
the process was intuitive, and the color choices and subjects were
familiar to warm memories; all of this allowed for confident
exploration resulting in another whimsical and comforting
painting endeared to the artist’s heart and spirit.
Painted on 18x24" Strathmore 246# acrylic paper, custom framed with glare-free UV protective glass, in a contemporary rustic metal frame, with a complimentary double mat.
