Anxiety's Grip
Part of a series that examines the experiences of anxiety and ADHD. Anxiety’s Grip delves into the suffocating hold of anxiety. The hand in the drawing serves as a powerful symbol of the relentless control anxiety can exert, gripping tightly and refusing release. Created with charcoal on paper, the raw and dynamic texture of the medium mirrors the unpredictable and spiraling nature of anxious thoughts. The faceless, scribbled figure represents the erosion of identity and the struggle to maintain composure. Each piece in this series reflects a fragment of my own experience, offering a glimpse into the storm of a restless mind while encouraging others to find empathy and understanding through vulnerability.
