At Last, Abundance Overwhelmed the Machine

This piece explores the tension between the grinding machinery of daily life and our own expectations of control with the abundance that is possible outside of those structures in reality. Using mixed media—acrylic, caulking, and found electronic parts—it symbolizes how the relentless demands and expectations of our routines are often overshadowed by the uncontrollable forces of existence. We often expect ourselves to be overwhelmed and dragged under; what if we were overwhelmed with possibility and abundance.
